The school does not have the facility to host school sports teams. Students are not able to participate in sports at nearby local high schools. Yet, there are students who participate in traveling or recreational sports teams outside of school. Is there a lot of homework. Students receive homework each night. Students will be required to complete a significant amount of homework at home and study for classes and tests. In the beginning homework can be challenging for ninth graders but becomes less challenging as better study skills are developed..
Microwaves are available to students. Students eat lunch in trailers and outside at picnic tables. What can I wear. Students do not have to wear uniforms. Students follow the standard UCPS dress code. Can I leave if I don’t like the school. Students sign a contract to stay for the full ninth grade school year.
